The Cohesity People & Places team has been gaining significant momentum in adding new value to our business. We have built - and are continuing to evolve - our HR team across a number of areas, from Learning & Development, HR Operations, and Talent Management to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Analytics. The success of Cohesity depends on a rich array of products and services that meet, exceed, and delight our customers, and is at the heart and center of all that we do. Responsibilities:The Senior People Partner will be responsible for providing a first-class Business Partnering service to clients and proactively cultivating key working relationships with business Leaders across South Asia and Pacific Region with a focus on South Asia and Pacific Sales team.This will include:
  • Driving a truly high performing culture across South Asia and Pacific.
  • Strategic partner/trusted advisor to key executives. Work closely with leadership to define and execute business strategies that enable alignment and growth. Responsible for defining and executing required strategic global HR solutions.
  • Drive talent strategy connected to the business strategy and growth. Translate current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic workforce plan.
  • Brings an objective perspective in managing business problems. Provides insight regarding people, organizational dynamics and the business and translates this insight into sustainable solutions. Recognizes and effectively balances the client group’s interests with the needs of the company.
  • Understand external customer trends and issues in the industry that could potentially impact business.
  • Lead management in organizational assessment and diagnosis to revise business strategies into actions that deliver results. Collaborate and manage relationships with other enablers and/or key stakeholders.
  • As a member of the BU management team contributes to the business strategies and drives human resources practices and processes that will help to achieve business objectives. Coaches BU Leader and key business leaders on leading and managing their organizations effectively. Diagnoses organizational effectiveness issues, including organization design, and implements solutions.
  • Ensures the various HR operating mechanisms and initiatives within their client organization are effectively addressing key business issues. Typical operating mechanisms include: Employee survey and follow-up actions, Org and Talent review, and performance review. Provides input on/champions change to operating mechanisms to ensure relevancy.
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will hold strong Business Partnering experience within a Technology Sales environment.
  • 8+ years of experience working in the technology or digital sectors preferred.
  • Ideally have experience supporting HR across South Asia and Pacific.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-growth organization with underdeveloped processes.
  • Be a competent senior stakeholder manager.
  • BA or equivalent degree in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of change management and process excellence principles, and application of these principles to solving complex business problems.
  • Ability to drive effective decisions and generate shared vision with key stakeholders to achieve goals effectively.
  • Self-directed individual with initiative, capable of working in a matrixed management organization
  • Flexible, team oriented, ability and willingness to learn and work through ambiguity.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
