Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join Financial Planning and Analysis - GA & GWAM COE team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to accountable for providing accurate, timely, and relevant monthly, quarterly and annual financial data production, reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting to different stakeholders of the General Account (GA) Finance Financial Planning & Analysis – COE team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial information from various stakeholders
  • Prepare high-quality monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and presentations for GA Finance - Financial Planning and Analysis Group
  • Maintain report templates, identify key issues, and seek resolution, while re-engineering reporting processes for consistency and efficiency
  • Support annual consolidated planning process, investigate trends, model projections, and implement reporting and process solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teammates to ensure smooth reporting and planning processes, including cross-training and quality checks on team’s work

Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree in accounting, finance, or business management; CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA designation is a plus
  • Experience: 4+ years of progressive finance experience in a large multinational organization
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: 3 days per week on site, 2 days per week Work From Home
  • Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
  • Strong business acumen and clear communication of financial concepts (verbal & written)
  • Proficiency in MS applications (Office & Power BI); ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Preferred Skills/Nice to Have: Knowledge of Anaplan, Essbase Cubes, and Lawson (or other complex GL package) is an asset
