A Senior Officer Freight and Mail Interline is responsible for the coordination of the Freight, Mail and Cargo Revenue Processing team and processes to ensure efficient and effective operations that support the achievement of KPIs. This includes the analysis of issues and queries and the recommendation of solutions. In addition, the role is required to ensure all Freight, Mail and Cargo Revenue transactions are processed in accordance with relevant and applicable policies and procedures. This includes the completion of month end and accounting transactions and the provision of reporting to customers.  
 
Additionally, the role encompasses the facilitation of Freight Ground Handling Invoicing monthly. The successful candidate will have contact with competitor, customer or supplier. You will ensure Freight revenue is processed in an efficient and effective manner to deliver the timely reporting of complete and accurate data to customers and contribute to the development of appropriately documented processes and procedures. 

You’ll have: 

  • 2-3 years within Passenger Freight Revenue Accounting or Proration areas

  • Experience with supervising Third Party Vendors  

  • Proficiency with Revenue Accounting Systems  

  • Proration both Industry and Special Proration Agreements  

  • Key knowledge of ticketing and IATA rules, regulations and policies  

  • Highly developed accuracy and attention to detail skills

  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • High levels of self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision

  • Understanding of lean sigma or continuous improvement initiatives
