About This Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and organised Student Enquiries Officer in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT) to provide high quality customer service through the delivery of friendly, helpful, accurate, and informative advice and services to students, professional and academic staff. This position is responsibility for completing a diverse range of administrative processing tasks and associated day-to-day problem resolution and maintenance of administrative systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
Deliver high-quality customer service to prospective and current applicants for all EAIT programs, using university databases and CRM systems.
Advise and support students on a range of administration activities across domestic and international undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including credit, progression intervention, graduation checks, cross-institutional study, and exchange.
Provide accurate information and recommendations to decision-makers regarding student matters, ensuring compliance with University rules, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Maintain and update student records and administrative decisions within University databases and record-keeping systems.
Contribute to the implementation and review of strategies to improve workflow, efficiency, and effectiveness within the Faculty Student Administration area.
Collaborate with colleagues across Faculties, Schools, and Central Administration, and provide secretariat support to committees and working groups as required.

About You
An undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise competing work demands in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of student administration, both domestic and international, undergraduate, and postgraduate, including admissions, enrolments, examinations, and graduation.
Problem solving skills using judgement and reasoning in interpreting situations and providing accurate and consistent advice, particularly in relation to policies and procedures.
Proficiency at an advanced level using student administration systems, computer software packages for word-processing and spreadsheets.
Commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service.
Ability to operate flexibly across the range of functions within the Faculty Office and to work as a member of a team.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.
