This role will support Atlantic and Ontario retail stores.  The Sr. HR Coordinator will support two Sr. Directors and HR Business Partners by coordinating and following through on various Human Resources activities and projects, including Company-wide Human Resources programs/initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Sr. Director and HRBP’s with research, analysis and implementation of programs, reports and projects.
  • Facilitate the LR Grievance process and update the grievance tracker.
  • Generate and Synthesize: ad-hoc reports from Workday generate data that is used for daily business decisions.
  • Participate in focus groups concerning Workday Process analysis; provide feedback from the stores so that they can make existing workday processes work more efficiently for the stores.
  • Put forward process improvements to reduce the administrative requirements needed by the HRBPs
  • Year-End Process - Providing back-end support to ensure that managers submit their Performance evaluations when required; conducting comp audits to ensure that accurate STIP amounts are paid out to colleagues.
  • Participating in Year End Process Champions calls to support new changes and guide the HRBP’s through the comp process.
  • Day-to-Day support (Workday Training/ Onboarding/ Reporting), Working alongside HRBPs to assist in special projects
  • Manage and Execute TIAIIS Hierarchy for the survey, working with the HRBPs to report accurate numbers for the store populations and ensure that the correct historical data is attributed to the correct team leads.
  • Report on response rates to the client group twice weekly, collaborating with the survey team to deal with issues as they arise during the survey Window.
  • Build Reports for the HRBPs and the team overall. Utilizing current reports and work with the HR tech team to enhance reporting where required.
  • Work with Workday Support to analyze and solve Workday-related issues as they arise in the field and assist where necessary.
  • Train/Update HRBPs on proper processes and procedures in  Workday
  • Communicate Workday enhancements and shortcuts to the team at large as they are released within the system.  

What You'll Need:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources and obtained (or working towards) HR Management Certification. 
  • 3 – 5 years of progressive HR experience, coordinating departmental programs and initiatives is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Workday HRIS
  • Strong integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.
  • Excellent computer skills required in MS Office (Excel – ability to manage complex spreadsheets)
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused and able to nurture positive customer relationships
  • Highly organized and has a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and superior ability to problem-solve
  • Exceptional commitment to customer service with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, requiring little direction
