About the Role

By being the first finance hire you'll be a part of a lean, high-performance, and highly ambitious team, where no problem is too big to conquer. You'll help take our company from 1 → 100, this will be an open playground for you to produce high-impact work.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll work closely with the founders, tackling high-impact challenges and building innovative solutions from the ground up. This role is crucial to our success, offering the chance to shape the company’s future and do what most finance managers haven’t done.

  • First member of the finance team, responsible for establishing financial processes and systems from the ground up

  • Manage and maintain the cap table, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all equity-related matters

  • Oversee stock options and grants, including issuance, tracking, and reporting

  • Build and maintain a live P&L, providing real-time insights into the company’s financial performance

  • Collaborate with accountants to manage the overall P&L, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and timely

  • Develop financial projections and models to support strategic decision-making

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts to align with company goals and financial health

  • Ensure financial compliance with relevant regulations and manage tax filings, audits, and other reporting requirements

  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support company growth and investment decisions

  • Looking for people with 4+ years of experience

  • Expertise in building financial and forecasting models (FP&A)

  • Solid understanding of SQL

  • Experience with cap table management, stock options, and grants (preferred)
