The HR function is constantly evolving, and Altium Packaging is looking for a dynamic HR INTERN in our California Area, to support key business initiatives. The HR department has been supporting company growth and we are looking for an intern who is eager to learn and have an impact. This intern will report directly to the Area HR Partner Manager.

Office Base: Orange County

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• The Human Resources Intern performs administrative and clerical responsibilities directly related to human resources department
• Human Resource Analytics
• Assistance with recruiting and onboarding new hires.
• Engagement Survey Rollout/Action Planning
• Employee engagement/Appreciation projects
• Other tasks assign by management
• Ability to travel to multiple site

As an intern, you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the decision-making process.  The experience will include:

You will have a wealth of functional HR experience to call upon in your final year of school, will fully understand the business, and have created tremendous value.

You will gain valuable project management experience, experience with performance management, data analysis, HRIS skills, experience with M&A, engagement survey rollouts, leadership skills, presentation skills, public speaking opportunities, and the ability to apply technical skills learned in school and use them in a functional setting. The skills you develop from our internship will serve you well in the rest of your HR program, as well as in your professional life.

Starting Pay Rate:

$23.00

Will the internship be paid?

Page range: $22-$25 per hour

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an HR master’s or bachelor’s degree or related program.
• A Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and focus on immediate assignments
• Full-time Summer & Part-time during the school year
• Strong candidates will also exhibit sound leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
