The Human Resources Information Solutions (HRIS) team plays an important role in the success of multiple processes for the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts Segment and the Walt Disney Company. We provide system support and act as a liaison between our various parks and resorts clients, our corporate partners, and end users needing assistance.
If selected for this role, you will report to the Sr. HRIS Developer The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 to June 2025. This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship
What You Will Do
- Support HR-specific systems along with support to all levels of employees across the company for all product delivered through the company’s learning, talent management, and employee HR system of record
- Implement testing scenarios across multiple applications
- Assist with the development of automated systems testing approach.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for application testing and understanding of the quality assurance lifecycle.
- Enthusiastic about crafting clear and compelling data visualizations that optimally communicate complex information and insights.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- College-level background in web-based application development, with skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, etc.
- Experience with SQL and understanding of Microsoft Access relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday, SAP and/or other HR Systems
- Demonstrable ability to manage conflicts, collaborate with teams, and maintain integrity in communications.
- Adaptive and flexible, with the capability to prioritize and multi-task in a multifaceted environment with shifting priorities.
Education
Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field at an accredited college/university
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
- At the time of application, be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Burbank CA, or Orlando, FL area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.

The pay rate for this role in California is $30 per hour.
