The IM/HOS/AV team are looking for a marketing leader who will play a key role strategically leading a diverse portfolio that includes Eliquis, Paxlovid, Toviaz, Zavicefta and Rimegepant. In addition, this role will also be responsible for managing pipeline brands in therapy areas such as obesity and COVID and RSV treatments.  As a member of the Japan IM/HOS/AV Leadership team, the Marketing Director will be responsible for leading strategic brand planning, portfolio life cycle management, launch excellence planning, omnichannel strategy and execution of operational plans to meet customer needs, optimize patient outcomes and deliver on IM/HOS/AV commercial goals. The Marketing Director will lead a high performing, engaged, innovative team, championing their continued growth and development and committed to successfully embracing the Co-lab model.

Lead all aspects of strategic brand planning and commercial management, delivering strategies and tactics to achieve financial budget (revenue and IBT in Operating Plan) for the portfolio Make trade-off decisions to prioritize focus areas and spend investment to maximize brand and launch performance Lead the development and execution of Brand Plans, including developing robust omnichannel strategies and content to meet customer needs, optimize patient outcomes and maximise brand opportunities and values. Proactively shape the market for new pipeline launches. Partner and collaborate with relevant Global & ICO teams and locally with sales, P&HE, ISE and HSP Coach team members to develop and deliver strategic priorities, materials and resources for customer-facing colleagues Partner with Finance to develop business forecasts and regularly track performance against budget targets Partner with medical affairs, regulatory, legal and compliance to ensure strict adherence to promotional guidelines and 100% compliance with all law, regulation, SOP, internal or external rule/policies.

Experience

  • Extensive experience developing and implementing pharmaceutical business strategy.
  • Experience in developing and implementing omnichannel marketing strategy
  • Proven track record of leading projects, driving changes, and organizing teams that successfully achieve milestones and deliverables.
  • Experience working in multiple cultures and demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures.
