Job Summary:

The Senior Director, Networking Solutions will lead all aspects of Product Management for Enterprise Networking, including discovering market insights and formulating product strategy, articulating the product vision, developing requirements, guiding product development, and championing product commercialization. He/she will manage the Product Management team and will drive collaboration across all areas of the organization.

The Senior Director will also be involved in strategic activities including unique task forces, special assignments and strategic planning as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Discovery and Innovation (Market Segmentation, Needs Definition, Customer Personas, Competitive Benchmarking)
  • Product Strategy (Product Vision, Value Proposition, Competitive Strategy, Pricing and Roadmap)
  • New Product Planning and Development (Requirements Definition and Prioritization, Release and Sprint Planning, Market Feedback)
  • New Product Introduction (Messaging, Launch Planning and Readiness, Training)
  • Product Life-Cycle Management (Manage Product Profitability, Track and Evaluate Metrics and KPIs, Rationalize and Optimize Portfolio)
  • Team Management (Resource Allocation, Personnel Management)
  • Stakeholder Management (Internal Stakeholders, External Stakeholders)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably technically oriented
  • Proven track record of successful product line management (typically 10+ years)
  • Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional team environment
  • Technical proficiency across entire Networking stack – physical layer, network, cloud software
  • Commercial Strategy and Leadership (sales engagement, channel strategy and management)
  • Marketing (Messaging, Positioning, Marketing mix)
  • Business Judgement and deep knowledge of issues impacting cost, revenue, and profitability
  • Exceptional Communication and Presentation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA desirable
  • Direct Industry experience in Mobile/Industrial/Enterprise Networking

 A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $160,000 - $200,000  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
