SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Marketing Insights Strategist to join our Marketing Insights team. In this role, you will leverage Placer location data to create compelling narratives, transforming raw data into actionable insights that engage and inform our audience.
As a Marketing Insights Strategist, you will blend advanced data analysis skills with strong storytelling ability to convert complex data into impactful, lead-generating content. You are skilled at crafting narratives that captivate and resonate with readers, and possess exceptional writing and communication skills. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail enable you to turn data insights into creative, market-relevant content.
To excel in this role, you must be a proactive problem-solver with a keen curiosity and enthusiasm for working at the intersection of data and marketing. Experience within Placer’s core verticals—such as retail, commercial real estate, dining, or hospitality—is a strong plus.

Storytelling & Content Creation:
Proven experience in creating and executing content strategies that align with business goals and engage target audiences.Skilled in developing diverse content types (blogs, reports, presentations) tailored for various platforms and audiences.Proficient in visual storytelling principles to support narratives with charts, graphics, or other visual aids.Excellent writing skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly, and engagingly—a strong advantage.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Experience working closely with marketing, data, and design teams to co-create strategies and share insights.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Knowledge of the U.S. retail environment is a significant advantage.
