The Accounting team is hiring for a Senior Accountant.

The Senior Accountant executes and supports a variety of operational accounting and financial processes of the global business. This position demands exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.  Additionally, it requires proficiency in researching, interpreting, and documenting accounting guidance (i.e. US GAAP, IFRS) and practically applying these methodologies within the context of our business.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition by reviewing and analyzing complex revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP (primarily ASC 606 and 326).
  • Execute month-end processes, including preparing and reviewing exchange billings, journal entries, account reconciliations, and ad-hoc analysis. Monitor and analyze revenue trends and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement accounting processes supporting global business operations.
  • Manage diverse projects as needed with the ability to manage vertically and across functions within the organization.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of system processes and controls.
  • Prepare financial, regulatory, and compliance reports. Create and help review supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Author process narratives or accounting memorandums as needed.
  • Provide support for internal and external customer inquiries related to invoiced activity.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), IFRS a plus.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Experience with Workday accounting software, IBM Planning Analytics TM1.
  • Ability to demonstrate concepts in both memorandums and business forum settings.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Minimum Years of Work Experience:  3 years of public accounting or 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
