Overview: 

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our Mumbai team as a VP of Institutional Sales. The incumbent should have expertise of selling into global and regional financial institutions, including in-depth knowledge of the Indian market. It is, therefore, vital that you are a passionate individual who wants to make a difference.

What You'll Do:  

  • Help to develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets as part of the regional and global sales team
  • Strategic sales & account management planning from concept to execution across the institutional sector in India.
  • Deliver commercial path to aggressive, yet achievable, growth and profitability of the company
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients in India across the spectrum of institutional and investment firm clients. Proactively seek out opportunities.
  • Communication of market developments to marketing and client service team. Skill to plan and deliver results in a highly demanding environment

What You Have:    

  • University degree from a recognised institution
  • 7 to 10 years of sales/ business development experience, ideally with a focus on B2B selling within the research/ information service, financial/investment or other similar sectors.
  • Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients with demonstrated ability in establishing effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset, and an unwavering desire to succeed. Clearly demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Ability to work with executives across Asia and globally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
