Job Summary: The HR Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring the various HR systems, processes, tools and technologies are meeting the needs of the business. As a key resource within the HR Services team, this role is critical in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction within the HR function through the strategic use of technology, primarily Workday. Serving as a vital link between the HR COEs and other key stakeholder groups, this role will provide system consultation, guidance and support. In kind, this role serves as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for various functional areas within Workday which may include Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HR (HCM), Benefits, and Talent Management. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Collaborate with various stakeholder groups, such as IT and HR for the identification and resolution of issues, evaluating potential system enhancements, upgrades, and/or system conversions Perform analysis to determine the root cause of problems and resolve as appropriate. Create and manage processes to support MSS, ESS, and HR data entry to preserve integrity and accuracy. Partner with HR stakeholders to understand their business needs, gathering information through workshops and design sessions and translating them into requirements for system enhancements and process improvements. Conduct and lead testing to ensure that system configurations and customizations meet the specified requirements. This includes developing test cases for functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights to HR leadership for decision-making purposes. Provide training to HR users on how to use Workday effectively. Offering ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to address user issues and system enhancements. Support organizational change initiatives related to Workday implementation or upgrades. This involves communicating changes to stakeholders and promoting user adoption. Ensure system configuration complies with regulatory requirements and internal security policies. Required Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma HR Development or Associates Computer and Information Science-Preferred or Bachelors HR Development-Preferred or Bachelors Computer and Information Science-Preferred or Other / Certificate Computer and Information Science-Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
    Additional License(s) and Certification(s): Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years Working with an HRIS as a super user or in an functional administrative capacity. Required and Minimum 1 year Facilitating HR business process design and/or business requirement gathering for process improvements and HR system design; preferably Workday. Required and Minimum 4 years HR experience preferably in a Shared Services organization. Required Minimum 1 year Creating test cases and scenarios, documenting results and leading various phases of testing (Unit, functional, regression, load, user acceptance, smoke, etc.) Required Minimum Skills: Ability to identify core business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements all while driving user adoption and engagement. High Ability to lead stakeholders through design decisions and requirements gathering sessions. High Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving with high attention to detail. High Use of sound judgment in assessing situations and problems. High Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority issues simultaneously. High Ability to successfully work independently, as well as within the team environment. High Excellent rapport and relationship building skills. High Strong written and verbal communication skills.
