We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with a strong background in Records and Evidence management to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Play a crucial role in the development and execution of product strategy to enable growth in both our government and enterprise businesses, and in alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.
Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape related to the products.
Build business cases both for individual products and overall solutions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches.
Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ongoing product enhancements, including defining product roadmap, feature prioritization, and release planning.
Define clear product requirements and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous product improvement.
Act as a product evangelist, effectively communicating the value proposition and product benefits to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
As Motorola Solutions is a global company, frequent communication over various time zones is expected.
Qualifications:
5+ years of previous product management experience is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Strong understanding of Records and Evidence technologies, and public safety/commercial recording products (911, Radio, Telephony) is preferred.
Strong background in SaaS business models and their applications in various industries is a plus.
Demonstrated success in delivering complex software products from concept to launch, preferably in an Agile development environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive product decisions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and driving customer satisfaction.
Experience in delivering solutions to global market segments is highly desirable.
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
