Title:  Lead Program Manager, ServiceNow 

Location:   Dallas, TX; Alpharetta, GA; Richmond, VA; Jacksonville; FL; The Woodlands, TX (Preferred):  

Job Description  

The Lead Program Manager, ServiceNow will be responsible for providing project management expertise for digital workflow initiatives specifically utilizing ServiceNow. This role will drive the delivery of assigned program(s) against business objectives, organize workstreams (or projects under the program), and manage the overall program scope, budget, and schedule. It is expected that the person in this role will leverage ServiceNow’s Agile module to manage engagements through their lifecycle, to include paging solution integration, new module implementation, and bundling of enhancements into initiatives to enable release tracking, training, etc.  

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate all activities related to standing up and running complex initiatives from inception to closure, including but not limited to organizing projects, overseeing the planning and execution of each project, and leading overall program governance. 
  • Identify, monitor, and manage dependencies, risks and issues in a timely manner; follow governance standards to escalate to right levels at the right time. 
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams, internal and external, to ensure delivery of intended program outcomes. Collaborate with change management, finance, compliance, and others as needed.  
  • Provide reporting and metrics on program health (scope, schedule, and budget), and support all communications related to the delivery process consistently. 
  • Own development and management of ServiceNow – track, collate and analyze planned vs actual time and cost; take corrective/preventive actions as warranted. 

Minimum Requirements 

Typically requires 10+ years of work experience, with 8 years of specialized experience in project and program management. Certification in agile management practices is required for this role (CSM, RTE, PMI-ACP, or similar).  

Critical Skills  

  • At least 8 years of combined Agile and Waterfall delivery experience, with direct accountability for budgets (over $2M), scope, schedule, and quality. 
  • Experience overseeing the implementation of ServiceNow platforms OR any of its capabilities. 
  • Certification in Agile Project Management is required (CSM, RTE, PMI-ACP, or similar)  
  • Proven experience in project management processes and execution, as well as the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for Waterfall and Agile. 
  • Technical proficiency and working knowledge of IT infrastructure and system integrations.  
  • Proven record of leading and influencing team members in a matrix organization with a strong mix of outside service workers (such as consultants & contractors).  
  • Experience with Agile Project Management Software (Jira, Agility, Rally or similar) 

Additional Skills  

  • Hands-on experience with the Service Now agile module tracking is highly desired
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SPC etc.) preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with proficiency in utilizing productivity/collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint 

Education  

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$133,300 - $222,100
