Bankrate is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Inkwell team, focused on creating new tools, features, and technological solutions for a SEO/Editorial based product that supports Bankrate’s end to end content production process. 

In this role, you will be responsible for defining a 2-3 month feature roadmap that drives business value, collaborating with engineering and design teams to define requirements, and mentoring/managing other product managers. You’ll form strong relationships with stakeholder groups, conduct competitor research, and ideate new projects that will improve process, increase efficiency, and overall help increase Bankrate’s share of voice. 

We are looking for someone who is technically minded and able to create a clear plan out of an ambiguous problem space. This role operates in office Tuesday-Thursday with the option to work remotely Monday and Friday. 

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute on a product roadmap inclusive of new features, tech investments and bugs that’s aligned with business needs and/or solves business problems
  • Define and implement objective ways to measure success of features and projects
  • Analyze performance of Inkwell tools, features, and functionality, ensuring success and value delivered
  • Identify and implement ways to automate processes for teams
  • Clearly articulate product goals and vision to team, stakeholders, and RV business leaders. Communicate timelines, goals, and measures of success to diverse audiences
  • Manage the end-to-end process of ideation to release and work collaboratively with engineers, data scientists and creative teams to bring things to life
  • Make prioritization decisions, assess trade offs between level of effort and value and provide expertise on what we should work on, when, and why
  • Operate as the voice and advocate for use of the product
  • Translate high-level business objectives into detailed technical deliverables and manage projects to completion through your engineering, data science and design team
  • Own relationships with stakeholder groups (SEO and Editorial teams), acting as a point of contact for problems and champion for needs

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience as a product manager with proven ability to define and deliver a roadmap 
  • Proficient in SQL, BigQuery, or DataGrip (preferred); can weave together data from multiple relational databases, understand analyses, and draw insights 
  • Ability to operate and execute with a high degree of autonomy 
  • Excellent communicator who can have highly technical conversations with engineering groups as well as strategic conversations with stakeholders and business leads
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize many asks and needs into a coherent plan
  • Passionate about building software or technology 
  • Experience managing others preferred
  • Knowledge of SEO, data science, data modeling and prompt engineering preferred

Compensation

  • USA Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000*
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
