Job Summary:

The Retention Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, deployment, and reporting of email and SMS marketing campaigns.

This role requires strong project management skills, a customer-forward view of marketing communications, and an interest in using data and insights to refine retention marketing plans.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate seasonal email and SMS campaigns: Define channel-specific tactics, including content direction and timing; setting up project plans, outlining tasks and deadlines to ensure timely execution and alignment with seasonal goals.
  • Oversee email and SMS campaign execution: Manage the day-to-day execution of retention marketing campaigns. Ensure timely delivery of final creative assets from the design team, creating project timelines and monitoring progress of milestones, and ensuring adherence to established deadlines.
  • Campaign performance reporting: Track and analyze email and SMS campaign metrics (i.e., open rates, click-through rates, conversions) preparing reports and insights for cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Maximize campaign performance: Make data and brand-driven recommendations based on analyses to improve campaign effectiveness, such as refining content, adjusting audience segments, or testing and ensuring best delivery times.
  • Stay up-to-date on email and SMS marketing trends: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive campaign innovation.

Experience You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in email, SMS marketing, or related digital marketing field.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or other related field is preferred (additional work experience equivalent to a degree will be considered).
  • Strong project management skills and experience working with a PM tool to set tasks/deadlines and manage workflow.
  • Experience deploying emails and/or SMS campaigns. Direct experience with Klaviyo and Attentive are preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with email/SMS KPIs used for campaign reporting.
  • Analytics skills, either in-platform of using tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.

Hiring range: $70,000 to $75,000 USD Annual

Pay range: $67,000 - $100,000 USD Annual
