Position Overview

As a Product Owner for the Cloud Operations team, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring the delivery of high-quality cloud services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, site reliability, operations, and customer support, to drive the development and improvement of our cloud infrastructure and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud services with a deep technical knowledge and an acute understanding of how cloud-based infrastructure and operational support models.

Responsibilities

  • Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Manage technical debt to enhance system performance, reliability, and availability. In conjunction with the team, develop story details and support sizing effort and story decomposition.
  • Drive backlog refinement activities and be a core contributor in Sprint planning as well as Sprint review ceremonies.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment
  • Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team
  • Enable team delivery by minimizing variability in currently executed Sprint.
  • Define requirements for product development that represent technical delivery, controls enablement, and operational maturity while ensuring stories meet the definition of done.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in Cloud Operations and Management, with a solid understanding of Software Development principles
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure (AWS)
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills with audiences with various levels of technical background.
  • Passion to continuously improve processes and practices.

Education and Experience

  • 3+ yrs. experience in a Product Owner position, specifically in cloud platforms and observability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a cloud operations environment with in-depth knowledge of regulatory, data privacy, security, & quality requirements globally
  • Experience developing and commercializing connected products/line extensions
  • Experience in Medical Device development and/or other highly regulated products.
  • Diabetes experience or knowledge a plus

  • The position is hybrid at our Acton, MA headquarters.
  • Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business need.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $91,200.00 - $137,100.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
