Overview: 
The ServiceNow Solutions Consultant is a trusted advisor to clients and internal DXC teams, ensuring that proposed solutions meet customer requirements and expectations.  The role focuses on helping organizations leverage the power of the ServiceNow platform to streamline their operations, enhance service delivery, and drive digital transformation.  In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform is required, along with knowledge of DXC’s products and services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with clients and collaborate with internal solutioning/delivery teams to design and present tailored solutions.  The ServiceNow Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in designing and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet the specific business challenges of clients and achieve their overall objectives while being a key player in the success of DXC's sales and client engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to understand and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to design solutions which provide business value.
  • Ability to share knowledge and expertise within the organization to enhance the team's overall capabilities.

Solution Design and Development:

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
  • Design solutions to provide clear business value to customers and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze client requirements and design tailored solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
  •  Utilize technical expertise to design innovative solutions that drive value for clients.
  • Ensure that solutions align with best practices and industry standards.
  • Continuously optimize ServiceNow solutions to improve efficiency and alignment with client objectives.
  • Coordinate with Account Teams and Bid Mgmt Teams to provide ServiceNow solutions within the context of larger service offerings and proposals. 
  • Tailor product and DXC service offerings to meet the specific needs of the client.

Client Engagement and Pre-sales Support:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow to provide accurate guidance to clients.
  • Assist in creating compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations.
  • Participate in RFP (Request for Proposal) responses and other pre-sales activities.
  • Help clients evaluate the ROI (Return on Investment) of proposed solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their evolving needs.
  • Conduct presentations and workshops to showcase the value of ServiceNow solutions as well as the specific value of the related DXC offerings.
  • Conduct discussions and workshops to identify detailed requirements of customers and to assess current state.

Product Expertise:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the ServiceNow platform, applications, capabilities, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow integration capabilities with external applications.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow product updates and new features.
  • ServiceNow certification(s) and general training such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Proven experience in one or more areas related to ServiceNow solution consulting, implementation, support, and administration. 

Collaboration:

  •  Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and align proposed solutions with sales strategies.
  • Work closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to align solution designs with client goals.
  • Collaborate with product development and solutioning teams to provide solutions based on client input.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.
