As a Senior Retirement Consultant, you will be responsible for consulting with clients on nonqualified plan document best practices, drafting retirement plan documents primarily for non-qualified plans and assist with the administration of our nonqualified plan book of business.

We want to hear from you today if you:

  • Have experience with nonqualified plan documents that fall under IRC 457(b), 457(f), 409(A) and 415(m)
  • Consult with plan sponsors on nonqualified plan document provisions, explaining administrative complexities, and conduct detailed plan document walk throughs, focusing on plan sponsor’s objectives and ease in administration. 
  • Complete plan document tasks consisting of creating new documents, restating, or amending existing documents.
  • Monitor nonqualified plan participants to ensure proper administration of the participants elections based on the plan document provisions
  • Provide process and procedure recommendations to management to improve customer experiences, effectiveness, and efficiency of team operations.
  • Assist management as required in administrative functions such as collecting data for reporting or serving as a functional area SME on projects related to business or regulatory changes.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience with administration of nonqualified plans under IRC 457(b), 457(f), 409(A) and 415(m) including a thorough knowledge of the tax reporting and tax implications to participants and plan sponsors.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills.
  • Experience communicating with plan sponsors, attorneys, and consultants.
  • Effective candidate who can take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • CPC, QKA, CEBS, TGPC designations preferred.
