The Liquidity Reporting Team, which is part of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is looking for an Intermediate Reporting Analyst for Citi's broker-dealer businesses. The centre is a key part of Citi’s Finance function on global scale and offers excellent career opportunities for financial reporting professionals.

Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst

As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with the generation, tracking and submission of regulatory liquidity reports to the Regulators. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare reports and statements in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and analyse various reports that detail important aspects of the bank’s financials for the Central Banks, regulators and supervisory bodies
  • Apply and develop controls and reports including reconciliations, static data and variance analysis and mapping reviews
  • Participate in efficiency and innovation projects on ad hoc basis by reviewing and developing current processes using advanced digitalization tools
  • Stakeholder Management – close cooperation with Corporate Treasury during report submission
  • Manage data quality questions, investigate data quality improvement possibilities
  • Check and ensure that procedures, process notes and policies are up-to-date and applied to adequately cover rules and regulations
  • Involvement in new system implementations and working with Technology on enhancements to existing system

What we’ll need from you:

  • 3+ years of previous experience required in finance, accounting, banking or reporting field
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced / Fluent English knowledge
