Job Summary:  

This is an exciting role on a high-functioning Marketing & Communications (MAMRCOM) team within an innovative, high-growth defense technology company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone with a track record of driving results in—and a demonstrated passion for—all-things Internal MARCOM, including Corporate Communications, particularly employee and executive communications, as well as internal brand marketing activities, such as event coordination and ownership of branded materials. In this role, you will work closely with the MARCOM team to support the overall MARCOM vertical and partner with People Operations to further build out the company’s Internal Communications function. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Based out of Epirus HQ in Torrance, California, you will be the on-site lead for media engagements, VIP facility tours, Company All Hands, management of marketing materials and other applicable happenings. 
  • You will develop, activate and execute internal communications campaigns to amplify Epirus news throughout the company. 
  • You will own the VIP visit experience, including planning and coordination of overall day-of experience and relevant communications. 
  • You will partner with People Operations and lead employee communications around notable corporate moments/milestones, change management communications, employee events/experiences and associated communications to various stakeholder groups. 
  • You will oversee the development and delivery of branded materials (swag) for use at trade shows and other event activations and delivery to internal team.  
  • You will ensure Epirus staff throughout all levels of the company are equipped with appropriate marketing materials for internal and external engagements. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.  
  • You have 3+ years experience in a Marketing & Communications role with a strong track record of driving measurable impact within an organization.  
  • You have experience in the Aerospace & Defense or broader technology industry and/or the ability to apply your skillset across industries. 
  • You have a creative eye for elevating branded materials (swag) for distribution among Epirus employees. 
  • You can develop and own processes for content and swag requests. 
  • You have experience successfully planning and executing internal events.  
  • You are an exceptional writer and editor. 
  • You are able to capture executives’ (and other stakeholders’) authentic voice across internal communications channels. 
  • You have experience working cross-functionally to support all aspects of employee experience, culture and engagement.

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. 
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$73,900$91,200 USD
