Job Description Summary:

The role is critical in executing WTH people initiatives by focusing on employee engagement and retention, providing internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to all levels of management. The HRBP serves as an objective third party striving to understand multiple perspectives of employee relations under the direction of the Human Resources Business Partner Director.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a human resources subject matter expert and provides consultation and service delivery to assigned business units.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group and department leaders to develop solutions, programs and action plans regarding people-related decisions.
  • Consults with leaders and staff on employee relations issues, conduct objective investigations and make recommendations in response to management and staff concerns.
  • Effectively balances the company’s interests with those of the employees.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches for process improvement to effect continual improvement in productivity and development of employee retention and engagement within the company.
  • Manages assigned human resources projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions while managing expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; and preparing reports.
  • Trains facility leaders and human resources personnel on human resources best practices; and, company policies & procedures.
  • Ensures compliance and consistency to HR practices, and adherence to applicable regulatory requirements at the federal and state levels.
  • Compiles reports utilizing the employment data in the human resource information system database, the employee engagement database and the exit survey platform.
  • Coordinates HR special projects including new hire orientation, the unemployment claims process, biweekly termination reports and the exit interview process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Skill and proficiency in the principles, concepts, and techniques of Human Resource policies and procedures.


LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP preferred.


EXPERIENCE: Knowledge in Human Resources profession as normally acquired through three or more years of experience in Human Resources.
