Job Description:

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to fulfill entry, specialist, and support to managerial-level positions through observance of Manulife's global hiring standards, and effective management of hiring managers, stakeholders, and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill job demands based on service level agreements

  • Assess candidates using behavioral-based interviewing techniques in order to ensure committed and top-quality talents are selected

  • Partner with management in the proactive sourcing of talents for critical skill areas in order to build a talent pipeline

  • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent, both passive and active

Qualifications:

  • At least four (4) to five (5) years of volume recruitment

  • Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

  • Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

    • End-to-end volume hiring expertise; ability to conduct competency-based interviews and to ensure fair and non-discriminatory hiring decisions

    • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and writing)

    • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills (ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, and outline key steps in delivering good service)

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to comprehend and act on presented concerns or problems

    • Exposure to corporate and technology/IT hiring

    • Workday knowledge and experience is a plus
