Position: Talent Partner 

Reports to: Human Resources Operations Manager 

Department: Human Resources (HR)  

 

Purpose: Talent Partners are the primary resource for all talent-related needs. They drive recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes. By deeply understanding company culture and hiring needs, they ensure a positive candidate experience and facilitate talent promotions. Talent Partners identify top candidates and foster strong employee relationships to support retention. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead end-to-end talent, recruiting, and onboarding processes that align with business priorities. 

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for corporate and operational roles. 

  • Perform full-cycle recruitment tasks for all vacant corporate positions, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and screening candidates. 

  • Oversee internal advancement programs, ensuring opportunities are communicated and assisting hiring managers with promotion decisions. 

  • Conduct regular check-ins with department leaders to maintain a strong partnership and understanding of talent needs. 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create seamless workflows, ensuring positive candidate experiences from initial contact through onboarding. 

  • Work with Training & Leadership Development to enhance new hire orientation content. 

  • Lead and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company. 

  • Manage and update the company's talent pages, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Careerplug, the company’s careers page, and other job posting platforms. 

  • Plan and execute hiring strategies and processes to efficiently fill positions with high-caliber candidates. 

  • Track and present recruiting metrics aligned with strategic hiring goals. 

  • Partner with HRIS to maintain and optimize recruitment/applicant tracking systems. 

  • Maintain accurate applicant records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • At least 3 years of experience in high-volume, full-cycle recruiting required. 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Equivalent related work experience or combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. 

  • Expertise in hiring best practices and candidate assessment. 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proven ability in creative talent sourcing and recruitment strategy development for a multi-unit organization. 

  • Experience building process, managing, and reporting on staffing for the enterprise is preferred. 

  • In-depth knowledge of local and federal employment laws. 

  • Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. 

  • Advanced proficiency with applicant tracking systems which includes building/modifying workflows is strongly desired. 

  • Ability to work effectively in both a team and independently in a dynamic environment. 

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint and Excel; experience with HRIS system.  

  • Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with all levels of internal and external customers.  

  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. 

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion. 

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other employees at all levels across various departments. 

Budgetary Responsibility: This position will be issued a corporate credit card and will be authorized to spend up to $2,500 as needed. All purchases must be approved by the HR Operations Manager. Purchases greater than $500 must also be approved by the Chief People Officer. 

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, fax machines and phones.

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.  

  • Frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. 

  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  

  • Must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.  

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt Team Player is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).   

Standard work days and hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This position may work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends. 

Travel: Occasional travel to various worksites may be expected. Overnight trips may be necessary when traveling outside of the local area.
