What You Will Do:
Recommend, develop, and maintain effective Power BI solutions consisting of intuitive dashboards, visualizations, and other user-friendly methods of viewing complex data from multiple data sources.
Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting solutions; provide real-time insight into data-related questions pertaining to training completion statuses and other critical metrics.
Create comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, functional and technical report specifications, and user guides; provide training and support to Power BI users.
Optimize Power BI reports and queries to ensure efficient performance for processing large volumes of data.
Recommend effective and accurate training and qualification record solutions for the Liquids Pipelines Business Unit.
Provide recommendations for technical solutions that aid in the creation and improvement of outcome-based training and competency verification programs.
Who You Are:
Related university degree or technical diploma with minimum 2 years of experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience may be considered.
Proficiency in Excel and creating pivot tables.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, solve problems, and manage conflicting work priorities.
Experience in written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with developing and maintaining Power BI Dashboards would be considered an asset.
Strong understanding of Data Analytics and application of security models, including row-level security would be considered an asset.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field considered an asset.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with under 5% travel within Canada and United States.
