As Malaysia Procurement Site Operation, SMT Materials at Micron Technology, you roles and responsibilities will be as below:

Develop and perform Strategic Improvement Plan for Global Inventory Locations

  • Work with direct and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and perform global supply and inventory strategic direction for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites.
  • Implement recommended actions to achieve targets for global supply assurance metrics, which include weeks of supply and days of inventory outstanding during the uptrend and downtrend situations.
  • Implement inventory specific savings levers such as vendor stocking, supplier handled, or consignment programs.
  • Communicate global supply and inventory status, trends, and results to all pertinent partners.
  • Supervise and adjust global inventory compliance to regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Actively supervise performance to identify key performance indicator through aligned metrics.
  • Handling Week of Supply (WOS), Material Site-Transfer / rebalancing execution excellence.

Strategically Work with Stakeholders, Partners, and Suppliers

  • Ensure collaborator engagements occur through collaboration.
  • Communicate strategic goals, inventory management plans, initiatives and targets to collaborators, suppliers, and global procurement teams.
  • Handle crucial relationships with collaborators.
  • Drive and sustain effective communication between internal and external collaborators.
  • Execution excellence in Supporting Site rebalancing / Site Transfer activities, Inventory Management, Scrap disposition, Slow Moving management.

Collaborate with Collaborators to Deliver Strategic Solutions

  • Develop and maintain expertise in global supply and inventory management through relationships with partners, suppliers, and industry trends.
  • Implement relevant work processes to supervise collaborator satisfaction.
  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing supply management acts.
  • Have closer collaborations with procurement category teams to support the varying business requirements.
  • Participate and lead in functional process management and audit activities
  • Participated in Quarterly Management Review Session

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6~8 years of supply chain related experience
  • Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred
  • Proficiency in O365, Sharepoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing in Asia or other non-US locations is desirable but not a must.
  • Validated working experience in a matrixed, global organization
