Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Talent Management / Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Serve as a partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to influence and impact the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, and intern personnel. Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete the hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Support the new hire/onboarding program by engaging internal Depts to support a positive experience for new hires (ie. Lead welcome efforts, building tour, introductions…)
  • Coordinate & lead new hire orientation.
  • Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning.
  • Participate in Events Committee and implement initiatives to build employee morale
  • Work closely with the HR Team to ensure efficiencies, transfer of relevant information for processing, streamlining processes and back up training where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attend and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Conduct exit interviews.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least five years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, is required. Workday Proficiency is highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
