The HR Shared Services team is a group of superstars that are at the core of all HR activities at Ticketmaster. It is the team that is driving the standardization and globalization of all processes, the enablement of the HR team and Ticketmaster employees and the execution of all HR operational imperatives.

THE JOB

The Senior Analyst, People Analytics is a highly strategic, driven, and analytical specialist within the global Ticketmaster HR Shared Services function. Reporting to the Manager, People Analytics, you are an advocate and driver of insights and how that helps us attract and retain our best talent. The Senior Analyst is also able to unearth and champion processes through systems and tools that create efficiencies and attain critical data that drive metrics and KPIs to help determine the company's talent strategy and programs. As such, you will provide the expertise enabling us to achieve this and will help us transform the way data is used to optimize our talent strategy including talent acquisition, engagement, organizational development, performance management and diversity.

Not only are you helping to generate insights, you are a thought leader and project manager who can help the team plan, prioritize, manage and kick-off company-wide people programs and systems as they all relate to people metrics.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist Manager, People Analytics in the execution of Ticketmaster HR’s multi-year data strategy
  • Gather and compile relevant HR data and metrics from a variety of sources including (but not limited to) Workday and Culture Amp to drive insights into HR and business performance
  • Analyze and mine data for trends and patterns with a focus on diversity, turnover, retention, talent acquisition, reward, and other areas of the business as required
  • Develop and maintain people analytics templates and dashboards (via Tableau) for HR leads and business executives to keep a pulse on talent trends and assess impact/effectiveness of HR strategies
  • Assist in establishing people metrics KPIs and regularly measure progress through dashboards and other tools
  • Implement organizational health scorecards that aim at reporting to HR leaders, lines of business leaders and the company president the overall state of our talent with calls to action
  • Consult with stakeholders to design projects that will deliver meaningful insights as the end-goal
  • Act as a consultative partner and a key enabler for HR and lines of business leaders with data-driven insights, and support their talent strategy
  • Create visibility into people opportunities/initiatives/outcomes to help HR and business leaders make decisions
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of self-service HR reporting tools
  • Assist in the growth efforts of HR analytics offerings
  • Regularly produce HR metrics reports and share results with HR leadership
  • Produce actionable reports that show key HR performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems
  • Based on metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve existing HR processes
  • Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas
  • Ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices
  • Uphold best practices and the safeguarding of sensitive people data
  • Automate backend merging of multiple data sets in support of our biannual promotions cycle
  • Participate in other duties/projects as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • At least 3 years of experiencer business analytics professional with at least 1 year experience in People Analytics team
  • Strong experience applying statistical methods such as regression, forecasting, longitudinal analysis, classification, dimension reduction, clustering, etc. preferred
  • Experience analyzing data and data mining using tools such as Alteryx, R or Python preferred
  • Experience in querying data through SQL preferred
  • Tableau or other related data aggregation software tool experience required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with special emphasis in Excel required
  • Working knowledge of Workday (or other HRIS), Culture Amp, Smartsheet, Google Docs and or all other related systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR analytics reporting best practices
  • Knowledge of various people analytics KPIs required (ie. time to fill, turnover, etc)
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner preferred
  • Experience with AI desired
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, to resolve data issues and any other barriers to progress
