Title : Security Engineer
Location : Hyderabad, India

Position Summary

The Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity tools and platforms that support operational teams across the organization. This role emphasizes managing the lifecycle of security technologies—including evaluation, deployment, documentation, and automation—with a primary focus on administering and optimizing the OneTrust platform to support privacy, compliance, and security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• OneTrust Platform Management
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the OneTrust platform , ensuring proper configuration, integration, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Develop workflows, templates, and automation within OneTrust to support governance, compliance, data privacy, and risk management processes.
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to maximize efficiency and user experience. 
  • Collaborate with privacy, compliance, and security teams to align OneTrust capabilities with organizational requirements.
• Cybersecurity Tool Lifecycle
  • Evaluate, deploy, and maintain cybersecurity tools that enable operational teams (SOC, vulnerability management, identity management, etc.).
  • Manage tool configurations and ensure secure integration with enterprise systems.
  • Build automation scripts and workflows to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Integration & Automation
  • Integrate security tools with enterprise platforms (e.g., SIEM, ticketing systems, cloud environments).
  • Develop API-based integrations and automation for reporting and alerting.
• Documentation & Standards
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for tool configurations, processes, and automation scripts.
  • Establish best practices for tool deployment and maintenance.
• Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with operational teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that improve security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed tools.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in security engineering.
  • Recommend enhancements or new tools to improve automation and security capabilities.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience managing the OneTrust platform (configuration, integration, workflow automation).

Additional Qualifications

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar).
• Familiarity with APIs and integration methods.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working within an Agile methodology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with global teams when needed.
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP, or privacy-related certifications like CIPP/E) preferred.
