Role Summary:

The FP&A Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes through effective system management and data analysis. The analyst maintains system inputs, reconciles data, develops reporting and analytical models, and supports budgeting and forecasting cycles. They help drive process improvements, enhance reporting capabilities, and ensure strong data integrity across financial systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual budgeting activities within SAP BPC

  • Assist with variance analysis and identify key drivers

  • Maintain standard FP&A reports and support management review packages.

  • Load, validate, and reconcile data in SAP BPC from source systems (ERP, HR, operational data)

  • Support input templates, reporting views, and hierarchies within BPC

  • Perform data checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting cycles

  • Assist with master data maintenance (accounts, cost centers, reporting units, etc.)

  • Build and maintain excel-based models and analysis files linked to SAP BPC outputs

  • Support development of dashboards and reporting tools

  • Analyze trends and highlight unusual variances or data issues

  • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests

  • Follow established processes, timeline, and internal controls

  • Document assumptions, data sources, and reporting logic

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, and reporting efficiency

  • Support testing and enhancements to BPC models during forecast and budget cycles

  • Work with Accounting to understand close processes and ensure alignments between actuals and forecasts

  • Partner with IT and data teams on system interfaces, data loads, and reporting enhancements

  • Participate in training and development to build FP&A, systems, and business knowledge

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as FP&A Systems Analyst

  • Fluent English (conversational) seasoned to report to United States

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Financial or some other related with this role

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP BPC)

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to challenge the status quo
