About the role

Working in partnership with our Creative Director, you will be responsible to design, build and create strong emails communications supporting the business strategy and digital marketing.  Be the subject matter expert in email design and template builds for many different business objectives.

Oversee the development and execution of all physical emails

 

This role is right for you if...

You thrive in both the design & development of responsive emails and landing pages, plus a desire to improve your campaigns by using data and insight. You’ll ideally be from an agency or publisher background. The role is fast paced and responsive working across multiple different projects.

 

About the team you will be joining?

Candidate will report to the Creative Director, Digital. Role is based on-site at our High Street Kensington office. Currently the team is remotely working from home until further notice.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design and development of (across desktop, tablet, mobile & app):
    • Responsive HTML emails
    • Responsive HTML5 landing pages
    • Display advertising
  • Develop the look and narrative structure for a variety of design campaigns including and not limited to moodboards, concepts, mock-ups and storyboards.
  • Proactively monitor output quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Develop an effective working relationship with colleagues and clients to plan campaigns and setting KPI’s.
  • Perform campaign specific quality assurance testing to validate functional and rendering performance across all devices and platforms
  • Execute A/B and multivariate tests using creative to help improve the campaign understanding and objectives
  • Provide insight into best performing creatives and recommendations on improvements using data and insight to make these decisions
  • Ensure email deliverability is faultless and monitoring platforms for feedback on possible spam/blocks or inbox delivery issues
  • Effectively manage projects within agreed timescales.
  • Participate actively in brainstorms, giving creative input on ideas, styles and formats
  • Work proactively under your own initiative and as part of the design team.
  • Support the Creative Director, Lead Designer and Senior Designer where possible
  • Keeping up to date with current design, digital and email trends

 

Person Specification

  • Accurate and consistent creative output quality delivered on time.
  • Collaboration and professional relationship with creative, account, project and CRM teams.
  • Every project produced is of the highest quality and delivered on time.
  • Impact beyond the assignment.
  • Competent in Adobe Photoshop.
  • A strong self-starter, will be confident and experienced in planning, designing, and coding emails and landing pages and have an ability to effectively troubleshoot practical and technical problems associated with the production of the creative.
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery coding language for landing pages.
  • Knowledge in designing & building HTML responsive emails to perfection across various types of mailboxes.
  • Strong understating of the purpose of the email campaigns and how to design and build the emails to achieve their goals
  • Ability to adhere to each brand’s guidelines and meticulous attention to details.
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and highly organized.
