How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

You will plan and implement sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted towards existing and new markets personally or through subordinates.

In particular, you will: 

• Lead Sales efforts for specific product segments, supporting the region’s sales teams in their achievements of regional sales goals.  Develop and support product specialist sales teams and position the company to fully capitalize on market potential.

• Directs staffing, training, incentive plans and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.

• Provide meaningful input on area sales budgets for specific product markets.  Must assist with setting realistic sales and gross margin targets based on market knowledge.

• Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influences and key strategic partners and customers.

• Ability to work across organizational boundaries and provide support in a matrix organization.

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business required with a minimum of 10 years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities, including a minimum of 5 years experience in an Airgas sales management role.  

• Candidates must have a working knowledge of all functional sales areas in which direct reports lead.

• Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.

• Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.

• Valid state issued driver’s license.
