Landscape Architecture Project Manager

Join our growing Landscape Architecture team as an experienced Project Manager! In this role you will guide and mentor our Designers and Project Landscape Architects. Typical tasks will include design collaboration with internal team members, planning/oversight of project timelines and budgets, and defining project scope and objectives. This individual will coordinate the design and drafting of project elements for various clients. The individual will direct the development of graphic illustrations and 3-D electronic models to communicate design intent and the visual character of projects.

Location

This position may utilize a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work from our Bellevue, NE office joining our other landscape architects. 

The Impact You Will Have
  • Oversee data and site research (zoning compliance, landscape ordinance, and site development standards), site analysis, and conceptual site planning of project elements
  • Lead project design using personal skills and experience, as well as drawing on the design talents of co-worker landscape architects and engineers
  • Coordination of master plans, conceptual site plans, and final construction documents on assigned projects
  • Oversee preparation of construction drawings including site layout, grading, erosion control, plantings and site features
  • Develop construction document detail redlines for drafting by others
  • Prepare construction cost estimates and manage project budgets
  • Prepare professional service scope of services and fee estimates
  • Maintain project files and other site-related project data and maintain records pertinent to the progress of the work
  • Participate in weekly PM Coordination meetings to provide project and staffing updates
  • Lead and mentor internal teammates
  • Hold individual semi-annual conversation and meaningful performance reviews geared toward individual support and growth
  • Guide team members toward continually improving project delivery, project quality, and overall project profitability
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Establish culture of collaboration and belonging for all
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor or Master of Landscape Architecture or related discipline required
  • Licensed as a Professional Landscape Architect within the United States
  • CLARB Certificated Landscape Architect, or ability to attain CLARB status
  • Understanding of the application ofAutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, and Photoshop to assist in directing other staff in construction document and graphic illustration production
  • Understanding of natural resources and landscape ecologic functions
  • Experience in green stormwater infrastructure design to mimic natural systems using soil enhancements, native vegetation restoration and tree planting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects
  • Experience with project budgeting and billing
  • Hands-on proven ability to coordinate the delivery of large-scale, high-quality projects with high profile clients who hire us for our attention to detail and highest quality work
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
  •  A detailed and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Motivation to help grow an emerging landscape architecture practice within firm’s West Region
