About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Corporate Development & Corporate Strategy, the Senior Manager, Financial Strategy will drive the company’s annual financial goal setting in support of our strategic objectives. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.

You Will:

  • Facilitate our annual investment strategy in support of the annual goals. 

  • Partner with FP&A team to support annual budget setting and quarterly financial forecasting. 

  • Assist in preparing strategic financial materials for presentations to analysts, investors, and the Board of Directors. 

  • Develop financial reports and materials for internal Remitly audiences, collaborating with internal communication teams. 

  • Establish a robust data-driven framework in collaboration with other departments for evaluating and making resource allocation decisions, ensuring the highest Return on Invested Capital (ROIC). 

  • Enhance our competitive analysis and industry benchmarking capabilities, implementing automated dashboards with key metrics and benchmarking.

You Have:

  • Position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and 2 years of experience with project management in fintech industry.

  • 1 year of experience with financial analysis and modeling, strategy development, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives for digital financial services products.

  • 1 year of experience with competitor analysis, performance variance analysis.

  • 1 year of experience with analyzing business requirements, customer behavior and industry trends and reporting on results to senior business partners.

  • 1 year of experience with translating complex finance concepts into actionable insights for presentation to business leaders for decision-making.

  • 1 year of experience with analyzing data to identify problems and implement solutions, including large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.

  • 1 year of experience with data analytics and customer segmentation, creating and maintaining financial and operational models, including Tableau and Alteryx.

  • 1 year of experience with data manipulation using tools including MS Excel and Google Sheets.

  • 1 year of experience with software product development lifecycle and SaaS businesses, and SQL.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $163,467.00 to $216,000.00 a year. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
