Job Overview:

The Portfolio Access Strategy & Operations, Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue, improve net pricing structures, and shift profitability of BMS commercialized products/portfolio. This role involves analyzing sales data, market trends, net pricing models, Field Access Teams insights and proposing commercial policies/agreements that impact the company's financial performance whether in a product or portfolio basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Optimization: Develop and execute strategies in alignment with the BUs/Finance to optimize revenue of BMS commercialized products. This includes Pricing analysis, Business Cases preparation for Commercial Policies/RSAs, internal approvals/assessments seeking and contract/agreements negotiations/implementation with Hospitals/Regions, with special focus on the input received from Field Access Team

  • Net Pricing Strategy: Analyze market dynamics, competition, and product positioning to determine optimal net pricing commercial strategies. Monitoring and recommendation of net pricing adjustments at Hospital/Regional level as needed to maximize revenue while maintaining profitability.

  • Contract Management: Manage and negotiate contracts/agreements with key customers at Hospital/Regional level with the support of the Regional Access Team. Ensure that contracts are profitable and aligned with the company's revenue objectives. All in alignment with Tenders &BID Management Team.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and financial modeling to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks that could impact revenue. Make data-driven recommendations to senior management.

  • Account Revenue Management: Work closely with external partners and local IT in order to automate the Account Dashboard tool and maximize opportunities. Sponsor the tool so that field teams use it.

  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes that may affect revenue. Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.

  • Revenue Forecasting: Gives support to create and maintain accurate revenue forecasts based on agreements/Commercial Policies implemented. Collaborate with BUs, BI&A & Finance to align forecasts with company goals.

  • New Launches: Support and monitor all company new launches, advise for commercial actions if necessary to meet access targets.

  • Supply Chain: Deep understanding of internal and external supply chain environment to seek for business opportunities or minimize business impact.

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams giving support in achieving revenue targets. Monitor sales performance of implemented contracts/agreements and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and financial analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and deviations from targets of implemented contracts/agreements.

  • Compliance: Ensure that pricing and revenue strategies comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal BMS procedures, seeking for corresponding approvals/advice as needed.

Qualifications:

  • University degree within relevant areas or other applicable health care education, Health Economics, Finance and master related to Market Access activity.
  • Proven experience in revenue management, pricing, or finance, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team collaboration, supporting the National & Portfolio Access, Senior Manager
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Experience in analyzing complex issues, utilizing strategic thinking and implementing tactical plans.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on financial performance and profitability.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and distribution processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English, written & spoken.
