Position Summary
**This position can be located at any office location within the US**
This position may support the creation and maintenance of day-to-day operations checklists and playbooks as needed, permanent hours of operation governance and reporting, execution support, innovation on growth strategies, influencing on key business workflow optimization activities in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, this colleague will partner cross-functionally to devise and deploy key initiatives aimed to improve store and field experience through improvement of processes that impact store and field colleagues across our 9,000+ retail locations.
A couple highlights of expectations for the ideal candidate are:
• Lead delivery of entire workstreams to support initiatives that have a profound impact on the future direction of the company.
• Engage in leading the development and implementation of new workflow or central operations projects already committed for deployment, as well as solution definition, testing, and implementation of new initiatives needed to support operations for our retail front store and pharmacy business.
• Lead the diagnosis, solution development, and planning of new strategic initiatives that incorporate all of the company’s assets and delivery methods.
• Establish well-supported solutions with specific recommendations that will enable the executive management team to make critical decisions.
• Scope, plan, and perform quantitative analyses that will yield critical answers to the questions at hand. Understand and procure the required information to complete the analyses.
• Manage the delivery of timely, zero-defect analyses, and serve as a "Player/Coach" in this role.
• Support senior business leaders across the enterprise to define requirements needed and align with retail product development teams to ensure portfolio of capabilities are optimally developed in support of enterprise initiatives.
• Support Retail Pharmacy leadership team to develop strategic perspective on existing and new retail pharmacy opportunities including sizing and assessing markets, identifying risks/benefits of opportunities and recommending clinical growth strategies.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Tactical Project Execution
• Collaborate on the creation of strategic roadmaps and playbooks to support managing the strategy for key initiatives, at the direction of the Senior Manager or Lead Director, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategies
• Partner cross-functionally, within own team, to leverage outputs of current reporting tools and coordinate communications as needed
• Execute on tactical steps within project plans with minimal support
• Partner across departments in the enterprise (store operations, real estate, communications, change management, merchandising, Rx Growth and IT partners, etc.) to support the execution of project plans
• Partner with IT to develop requirements as needed for projects
• Partner with Sr. Manager to communicate plans, risks, and opportunities from working team up to executive leadership
• Executes a prioritized roadmap that successfully delivers the company’s ambitions, including changes in products, policies and/or processes across our ecosystem.
• Leads and participates in meetings/calls with corporate partners and retail executives
• Follows up on strategic initiatives and KPI performance 60%
Strategy Planning
• Support the Store Operations team in crafting and adapting in-process initiatives or net new initiatives
• Facilitate the creation of field facing materials with cross-functional Communications partnership for key touchpoints such as:
o Sr Leader Field meetings
o Leadership conferences
o Quarterly field calls
• Support the Sr. Manager and Lead Director in developing an effective communication strategy for alerting both internal and external leaders of anticipated changes, partnering with communication as needed 10%
Ad-Hoc Analytics
· Support reporting and analysis for deep dive/follow up questions related to current state of Store Operations, and state-of-the state and progression towards shared goals
· Adapt current reporting to inform strategies to predict and mitigate sales or assortment needs, in addition to identify trends communicating those to the right partners as needed
· Translate data insights into meaningful insights and actions
· Leverage key insights to measure the effectiveness of the initiative strategy
· Analyze data to inform solutions that create efficiencies supporting the colleague (field and store) experience in our stores 20%
Culture Talent Development
• Leadership: Providing guidance, direction, and support to teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
• Responsible for leadership development, succession planning, and driving engagement programs for the teams you oversee. Ensure development and mentorship of next generation of leadership talent.
• Creating a culture centered on inclusion and well-being will be a key responsibility in this role. Caring for our colleagues is a top priority, which translates to caring for our customers.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability:
• 2+ years’ experience in a role that provided exposure to product development, product management, strategic analysis, operations, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• 5+ years’ experience building strategies
• 5+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
• 5+ years’ experience building high-performing teams
• 5+ years’ experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals
• 5+ years’ experience influencing without authority
• Basic understanding of retail store operations, pharmacy, front store, etc.
• Experience in synthesizing data analytics to create meaningful business insights
• Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept feedback
• Proven track record of high performance
• Expertise leveraging MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint capabilities
• Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader
• Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
• Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience
• Anticipated completion of MBA, MPH, MHA or other MS degree program by start date (June 2025), or equivalent experience
• Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position
• Travel requirements – up to 25% travel expected

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
