Summary
The Building Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects by performing highly technical inspections across multiple disciplines, including Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. This position is essential for the day-to-day completion of inspections, particularly for commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a reliable and trustworthy professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, balancing both collaborative teamwork and independent work.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear; body motions and movements include bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing
• Lifting and/or moving up to thirty-five pounds regularly on average, and up to seventy-five pounds on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• This job is located in Florida, with exposure to intense sun, intense heat, humidity, rain, thunderstorms, and other adverse weather conditions
• Job site conditions may or may not be accessible by vehicle and can include wetlands, swamps, grasslands, and fields with uneven surfaces, sand, brush, and other natural and man-made obstacles.
• This job is primarily and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and construction sites where the noise level is usually moderate to loud
