Job Summary

Assist in collecting information and documenting processes to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing operations.

Job Description

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
•Documentation of detailed sequential work instruction and development of method sheets.

•Preparation of diagrams, graphs and charts to illustrate routing, work flow, floor layouts and procedure of material handling and use of machine.

•Study the steps and time taken of the process and identify opportunities to remove non value-added steps.

•Use time devices (such as stop watch or video camera) to determine Labor Times and Machine Standard Times.

•Assessing data and draft reports and graphs to indicate or validate deviations from existing operations and standards.


Experience/Skills:
•Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•Proficiency with Microsoft office
•Exceptional technical skills, analytical ability, judgment, and strong operational focus
•Excellent organization and time management skills
•Either knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD or willingness to learn to make 2Ddrawings in AutoCAD.
•Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience in manufacturing

Education:
•Associate Degree in Engineering or related field; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree
