Role Summary: The 3D Print Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of 3D printing systems. This position requires a blend of technical know-how, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality end products. Candidates must be willing to work swing/night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Printer Setup & Operation: Set up and operate 3D printers, ensuring correct calibration and settings for optimal print quality.

2. File Preparation: Convert CAD files to STL format and prepare them for 3D printing, including slicing and support structure generation.

3. Quality Control: Inspect printed components for defects and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to printer settings.

4. Material Management: Select, load, and manage printing materials, ensuring they meet specifications and are properly stored.

5. Maintenance: Perform regular checks and routine maintenance on 3D printers to ensure their longevity and reliability.

6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of print jobs, including settings, materials used, and any issues encountered.

7. Post-Processing: Clean and finish printed parts by trimming, sanding, or applying other finishing techniques.

8. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to fulfill project requirements.

9. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot any issues with the 3D printers or the printing process, taking corrective action as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.

• Minimum of 3 year experience in 3D printing or a related field.

• Proficiency in CAD software and slicing tools.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
