Basic Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent GED required (education will be verified) a minimum of 2 years of relevant mechanical and/or inspection experience
· Experience in inspection processes; knowledge and use of inspection and testing instruments
· Experience with common quality systems such as non-conformances, cause/corrective actions.
· Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work in order to accomplish multiple assigned tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Provide input to the technical needs and solutions required for the manufacture, inspection of materials and components.
· Ability to record detailed information accurately and in a timely manner.
· This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead
· Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
· Must pass visual exam
Preferred:
· Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
· Experience in a highly technical aerospace/manufacturing environment.
· Familiarity with the quality process
· Related industry experience in either manufacturing or inspection.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salary Range: $49,900.00 - $83,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
