Job Overview
The Solutions Specialist will ultimately become a Subject Matter Expert in the domain of Medical Devices and ClinSpark’s role in clinical trials by providing proficient and timely customer service desk support.
The focus will be on supporting customers’ use of Medical Devices and ClinSpark as an eSource/eCRF/EDC platform for clinical trial operations. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, business analysts, documentation specialists, and IT professionals using Jira Service Desk and other project tooling, in order to advise and support customers.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, combined with clinical operations awareness, in order to coach and assist customers with their use of ClinSpark in clinical trials. You will advise and support them on effective workflows and procedures for the preparation of a trial, and the conduct, oversight, and export of data collected in their clinical trials.
The Solutions Specialist will be required to work within global multi-functional internal and external project teams. Some travel required.
Solutions Specialist – eSource Early Phase, Europe Remote
IQVIA has an opening for someone who would like to combine their passion for Clinical Trials and technology.
The ideal candidate has a good understanding of Early Phase Clinical trials and technology deployment.
The Solutions Specialist will become an expert in IQVIA’s Clinical eSource Platform (‘ClinSpark’) and support its implementation at customer Early Phase sites.
You will also provide a key role in training users, support and developing product documentation.
You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, business analysts, documentation specialists, and IT professionals using a service desk and other project tooling to advise and support customers.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, combined with clinical operations awareness, to coach and assist customers with their use of ClinSpark in clinical trials.
You will advise and support the site by resolving any issues or questions that they may have when designing and testing trials, and during the conduct, and collection of data in their clinical trials.
You may be required to assist with the specification of new features and functionality.
The Solutions Specialist will be required to work within global multi-functional internal and external project teams.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or a health care related discipline
Three years related experience
Early Phase trial experience preferred, particular if gained working in a busy CRO or Pharma Phase I unit
Previous experience integrating and adopting software solutions, particularly eSource or EDC systems
Data management or computer systems validation experience advantageous
Excellent customer service skills
Good ability to prioritize, schedule and organize
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Good Microsoft Office skills
