SoundCloud is looking for an innovative and strategic Senior Analyst, Growth Marketing to join our team. This team member will lead the development and execution of creative customer acquisition initiatives, such as contests, promotions, and events, as well as engagement and retention tactics such as developing a customer loyalty program. This Senior Analyst will also play a critical role in deepening SoundCloud’s consumer insights knowledge through data analysis & reporting. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this individual will work closely with cross-functional partners, including the Product, Creative, Social, Music Marketing, Advertising, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of event-driven marketing campaigns, including digital and in-person contests, sweepstakes, and promotions to drive customer acquisition and engagement
  • Collaborate with the Product, Creative, Social, Music Marketing, and Advertising teams to ensure seamless campaign and program execution
  • Manage partnerships and collaborations with external brands and influencers to amplify reach and engagement
  • Manage project budgets as assigned, ensuring efficient resource utilization
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Design, launch, and manage a customer loyalty program to increase retention and customer lifetime value
  • Define loyalty program structure, benefits, and rewards that align with SoundCloud platform differentiation, customer preferences, and company goals
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success
  • Model projected impact/ROI of marketing campaigns and programs
  • Generate insights from campaign data and results, and develop recommendations for optimization
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of customer segments and retention behavior in collaboration with the Finance team

Experience and Background: 

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing and consumer insights, with a proven track record of success in developing, managing, and executing creative, strategic digital and in-person activations
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, trends, and innovation, including brand management, market research, and campaign development across various channels (e.g., digital, social media, events and in-person activations)
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making
  • Demonstrated excellence in performing analyses on large and complex data sets, particularly related to creating and analyzing retention curves and other consumer insights metrics
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and reporting tools, including experience working in SQL and Looker Studio
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred experience working in a SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business
  • Familiarity with event management platforms and tools and managing best-in-class customer loyalty programs is a plus

The salary range for this role is $90,000-110,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
