As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic trade marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and foster strong partnerships. You will work collaboratively to ensure the alignment of trade marketing strategies with overall business objectives delivering marketing campaigns, trade promotions, branding at events and activity across paid and owned channels for both trade and corporate customers. You will collaborate with sales and commercial teams to grow customer engagement and drive preference and market share for Qantas.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to embrace new ways of working, prioritise work and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed. You will balance business vs customer priorities in line with commercial objectives and consistently look for ways to enhance the Qantas brand and value proposition in with our trade partners.

You’ll have –

  • 5-10 years in roles related to Marketing and/or communications
  • Tertiary degree in Marketing or related field
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks & meet deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence outcomes
  • High level attention to detail
  • Takes ownership of, and personal accountability for decisions and actions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person to executive level audiences
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team as required, using initiative to tight deadlines
  • People management experience
  • Strong and proven experience in brand governance, ATL/BTL marketing campaigns and managing relationships with creative teams and media partners
  • Experience in B2B, partnership marketing and/or managing co-operative marketing campaigns preferred
  • Experience working with global marketing teams advantageous
