Technical Change Analyst
Salary: National ranging from £51,200 to £78,700 and London from £56,400 to £86,600
Are you interested in joining our End User Computing (EUC) Product Group as a Technical Change Analyst, managing change requests impacting the Azure, Microsoft 365 and Windows estate in the FCA?
The team/department
End User Computing is a pivotal team that provides change and run for a broad range of application and infrastructure serves. We work in small cross-functional, self-organising and autonomous teams. We are a team that is passionate about delivering value, whilst having fun.
Our Windows, Azure and Microsoft 365 team within EUC provides product ownership, analysis, and service management for a range of tools including Windows, Azure and Microsoft 365. We engage regularly with frontline business areas, as well as our DevOps teams and suppliers, adding variety into every day. We’re now looking for an experienced Technical Change Analyst to join us!
What you will be doing (the role)
Analyse and assess the impact of proposed technical changes on the Azure, Microsoft 365 and Windows estate using agreed processes and best practices
Identify, manage and mitigate risks associated with technical changes
Lead and co-ordinate technical change implementations with suppliers and internal resources. Liaise with and provide support to stakeholders impacted by technical changes
Collaborate with the wider FCA Change Management function in terms of process, best practices and forum such as CAB
Build up a roadmap and calendar of upcoming changes to facilitate planning and coordination
Monitor and evaluate the success of technical changes to embed a culture of continuous improvement

The skills and experience you will have
Minimum

Proven experience in a technical change management role
Strong understanding of Cloud concepts and infrastructure
Ability to analyse, manage and assess the impact and risks of technical changes
Essential
Proven experience in a technical change management role
Strong understanding of Cloud concepts and infrastructure, particularly in the Azure, Microsoft 365 and Windows sphere
Ability to analyse and assess the impact of technical changes
Ability to identify and manage risks associated with technical changes
Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills, organisation and co-ordination skills
Knowledge of change management best practices and experience in recommending and implementing such practices
Experience of working with third party providers, e.g. suppliers, Microsoft technical support, consultancies etc
