Are you passionate about empowering others and driving excellence in corporate operations? McKesson Medical-Surgical is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Associate Trainer to become a vital part of our Corporate Operations Learning and Development team. In this exciting role, you’ll deliver top-notch training to our warehouse operations personnel, with a special focus on "train the trainer" content. Your mission? To ensure the seamless dissemination of training materials across our distribution centers, fostering an environment of world-class education.

This role is dedicated to a specific project expected to last approximately two years. At the conclusion of the project, staffing needs will be evaluated to determine if the role remains necessary. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functional team specialties to understand training needs and approach them with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Conduct training sessions for warehouse personnel virtually as well as onsite, covering standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job aids.
  • Assist Senior Associate Trainers in process and functional task and support activities, ensuring adherence to required procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams and departments to provide effective training support.
  • Break down complex learning topics into easily understandable training sessions for employees.
  • Demonstrate adherence to our ICARE & ILEAD principles in all interactions and training sessions.
  • Deliver confident presentations to sizable audiences of all levels of team members and management.
  • Coordinate with local DC leadership to create training schedules that do not impact DC production.
  • Follow and update project plans as necessary to ensure timely execution.
  • Meet timelines in accordance with overall project demands.
  • Support Go-Live activities on the warehouse floor, to include system testing and configuration when necessary, demonstrating trained processes.
  • Ability to pivot and adjust quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback within a team setting.
  • Represent McKesson with enthusiasm, bringing excitement and creating buy-in for processes while delivering a world-class training experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; a degree or equivalent is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel more than 75%.
  • Ability to work remotely when not traveling.
  • Flexibility to stay over weekends as needed, including 2-week stays.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple training projects simultaneously.
  • Warehouse operations experience is a plus.
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Acute attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, as well as independently.
  • Ability to follow and update project plans.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $20.51 - $34.19
