JOB SUMMARY

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic recruiter to join our team to focus on building relationships with technical schools to attract qualified candidates for our organization. This role will work closely with hiring leaders to collaborate and understand their talent needs and provide guidance and support throughout the full recruitment life-cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting and a passion for connecting with students and faculty at technical schools across ONEOK’s footprint.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with technical schools to promote our organization as a preferred employer.
2. Collaborate with school career services departments to coordinate recruitment events, job fairs, and campus visits.
3. Identify top talent from technical schools and engage with them through various recruitment channels.
4. Provide information about our organization, job opportunities, and benefits to students and faculty.
5. Evaluate and screen candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications and requirements for our positions.
6. Manage the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring leaders to initiate offers, follow thru to offer acceptance, including scheduling interviews and conducting follow-up communications.
7. Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires from technical schools.
8. Assist the recruiting team with experienced positions during hiring volume spikes.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in recruitment, human resources, or a role where collaborative relationships were built.
3. Knowledge of best practices in campus recruitment and relationship building is preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
7. Flexibility and willingness to work in other areas of recruiting is a must.
8. Willingness to travel to career fairs as needed – up to 75% during busy career fair season. Some of the travel will require overnight travel while some is within the state and may not require overnight travel. This position will support areas of our business in Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, Kansas, & Montana.

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for executing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment processes including: candidate screens and selecting qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify and draft detailed and accurate job posting(s), hiring criteria, advertisement processes.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with the hiring leader and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Work Experience

  • This role is typically attained with 1-2 years experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring processes preferred.
  • Experience sourcing and screening applicant resumes, conducting employment interviews and analyzing applicant information preferred.

  • Knowledge of: laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Ability to: utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to: utilize excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to: create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Ability to: be proactive and take initiative.
  • Ability to: utilize excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to: collaborate effectively, establish and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Ability to: quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Ability to: be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter Certification preferred.
  • Staffing Professional Certification preferred.
