What you’ll do:

  • Drive revenue independently and manage a portfolio of Holding Companies in the Australian market, focusing on New South Wales and Queensland.
  • Lead a growing team of Account Executive, Senior Account Executives and Associate Directors and nurture their development.
  • Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with senior leaders in activation, planning, investment and strategy teams to drive further sophistication and growth of programmatic investment.
  • Independently lead complex negotiations and identify, close and oversee strategic JBP opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Take responsibility for more complex Sales and Marketing brand relationships. Apply business insights and industry knowledge to advance the client and TTD’s goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the product roadmap and platform functionality but is also able to think on a more macro-level and develop messaging which factors in the wider industry and trends.
  • Assist with projects and go-to-market strategies which impact the wider BD team and start to develop the understanding and commercial insights needed for forecasting and other sales management techniques.
  • Build meaningful connections with key people in Advertising industry and represent The Trade Desk at industry events.

 

Who you are:

  • 12+ years of experience in online advertising sales across diverse sectors, ideally within AdTech, MarTech or an online publisher.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of salespeople.
  • A great communicator with the ability to speak with senior levels and establish long-standing, consultative client relationships; and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups. Existing relationships with decision-makers at major Holding Companies is preferred.
  • Proven track record of surpassing revenue targets, demonstrating capability in generating significant business outcomes.
  • Visionary leader with a collaborative management approach, dedicated to inspiring and guiding teams towards shared goals while prioritizing personal and professional growth
  • A team player who participates and leads discussions, with strong management and leadership skills through a collaborative team approach.
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiations ability
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings and company offsites.
