RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Pipeline Development Specialist to join the North American Sales organization. The Pipeline Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the team with revenue growth for the North American Sales organization. This position works closely with national/regional marketing leaders and is responsible for processing qualified leads and opportunities utilizing a variety of channels and methods, including outbound calls/emails to potential prospects and existing clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Delivery of qualified, quality appointments, leads and opportunities to business developers and firm stakeholders including:
    • Following-up with inbound inquiries produced from marketing and lead generation campaigns to ensure that valuable sales time is focused on high probability leads.
    • Provide assistance with intelligence gathering on prospects and targets in alignment with marketing.
    • Collaborate and build a relationship with assigned targeted accounts in conjunction with the Manager.
    • Working closely and collaborating with RSM Technology partners to educate, discuss marketing campaigns, strategize on sales targets and attend partner events.
    • Working with business development leaders, marketing and partners to schedule appointments for new prospects.
    • Supporting all sales and marketing initiatives to grow sales of firm’s services from net-new prospects and clients.
    • Calling prospects that are “call ready” based on research to further qualify and secure appointments for business developers and other key stakeholders within the firm.
    • Assist with managing responses to requests for marketing calling campaign efforts as assigned.
  • Provide market-facing feedback to assist with the improvement of the firm’s marketing efforts and assess Return on Investment (ROI) of campaigns.
  • Track and enter all research efforts into the firm’s CRM system.
  • Responsible for nurturing pipeline and opportunities on target accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, business or related field preferred

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences required. Must possess impeccable confidence conversing via phone, video conferencing and email.
  • Intellectual curiosity, decision making, problem solving and creative/critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret information.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of inside sales and/or direct sales or marketing experience for consultative selling in a professional services environment (services sales vs. product sales) required.
  • Previous professional services industry experience required.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $52,600 - $84,200
